When we visit Bassac, like staying here. The location it offers is stunning and beautiful, not far from home-made jams and preserves, a restaurant open in the area on Sunday and Monday evenings and the river and French country village. There is a lot of gorgeous food for breakfast.

Great value for the money - beautiful location, comfy beds, and a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were amazing, making us feel like old friends and going above and beyond to make our stay perfect.
The breakfast could have been improved with a small addition, like having some milk available for coffee.

The room at Le Moulin de Bassac was simply amazing! It had a fully equipped private bathroom with a hot tub and free toiletries. I felt like I was in my own little spa retreat. The bathrobe and seating area added a touch of luxury to my stay. As a light sleeper, I appreciated the peace and quiet.
The only thing I didn't quite fancy was the shower in the fully equipped private bathroom. It just didn't suit my preferences, but I understand that others might still enjoy it.

Delicious homemade breakfast with a variety of breads and pastries made with flour from the mill. Excellent butter and fig confiture. Comfy bed with a view of the river. Helpful and accommodating host. Short walk to Michelin starred restaurant.
Felt safe walking at night, no complaints whatsoever.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful bed & breakfast. the homemade breakfast at Le Moulin De Bassac Bed & Breakfast was absolutely delicious, featuring freshly baked bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, and cookies made with flour from the moulin. the highlight was the excellent butter with salt crystals and freshly made fig confiture. Our bedroom had a comfortable bed and a great view overlooking the bridge and river. We loved the peacefulness of the location, with the only sound being the water passing through the mill wheel under the house.
Plus, it's just a short walk to the Michelin starred L'Essille hotel/restaurant. Cons: Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

Oh, how I truly miss having some outside space to relax and savor my juice-less breakfast. So refreshing not to have to keep asking for it!
